I've been fascinated by color since my mom painted my bedroom a zesty mix of pink and orange as a young child.
The affair was settled : we'd be life-long friends.
My color world was opened with travel and when I moved to Europe, I fell in love with the softer, muted palette - a big departure from my California vivid hues and here I continue to play.
I also find it fascinating that color possesses all the traits Nikola Tesla told us inform our universe : "You can find the secrets of the universe thinking in terms of energy, frequency and vibrations."
This idea intrigues and informs my work today.
